The pilots call this a splash and dash...and yes they do it on purpose!

Wow! All these balloon images are just fantastic! I wish I'd known about the festival as that looks to have been a lot of fun!
I had a blast with the balloon shots. It was the perfect morning to shoot. Shooting from across the lake gave me some great angles. The boats and water added a nice touch. Glad you like them.
