Lioness in Tanzania

We found this lioness guarding her cubs on safari. There were four females and five cubs.

Creepy crawly things....

We saw this Praying Mantis on my recent trip to Tanzania. I had never seen one so colorful before. He was about 5 inches long overall.

Hippos

We saw 2 dozen or more hippos in one location. Strange as they may look, there is no questioning their power and strength!

This waterfall is located inside Arusha National Park in Tanzania. It is called Maio Falls.

This little one just couldn't fight the afternoon nap anymore. He fell asleep in his daddy's lap. Man, I wish I could sleep like that!

This cheetah definitely looked like it was tracking something to eat....It was shot at the Denver Zoo.

Family reflection

I took this shot at a softball game over the weekend. The reflection in this man's glasses are his wife and daughter! I didn't use Photoshop to add them...it was part of the original capture!
